Fletcher’s Tender Care PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) is a medical facility with a day care atmosphere for children age 0-21 with complex medical needs that require nursing. The option of using the same company for medical services, equipment and PPEC services offers added freedom and convenience to many of our patients and their families.

Since 1998, our Jacksonville PPEC has offered pediatric therapies (physical, occupational, speech, music, and vision) in a nurturing and supportive environment. Additionally, we arrange field trips and partner with the local school district to facilitate education opportunities through the Hospital/Homebound program and screenings for school placement.

What Is PPEC?

PPEC stands for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care. We are a day treatment facility for children who require pediatric nursing services. We also offer pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapies at the center in a nurturing and supportive environment

Is My Child Eligible?

PPEC services are available to medically complex children, ages 0-21 years. Our staff is always available to assist you in the admission process. Please call our Community Referral Coordinator to schedule an appointment and/or tour the center.

Fletcher’s Tender Care PPEC is staffed by nurses and caregivers specializing in pediatrics. Our team will focus on your child’s medical, physical, occupational, speech and developmental therapies to give your child the support needed for optimal growth and development. We realize the care of a special needs child is a team effort, and collaborate with each child’s physicians, therapists, teachers and caregivers to provide complete care.
